FAQ

So…You really like alpacas huh?

Alpacas are SO great! Not only are they cute, fluffy and cuddly creatures, as a fiber artist I really love working with alpaca wool. Alpaca wool is many times warmer that sheep’s wool, and the fibers are completely hollow, whereas sheep's wool only contains pockets of air. It’s also hypo-allergenic and almost completely waterproof/fire safe. It’s kind of like the super hero of fiber! Those are just some of the reasons I decided to include alpacas in my logo. And yes, the logo alpacas have names - the left one is Effie and the right one is Louise <3

Did you go to school for photography?

I’m completely self taught, in all aspects of my life! I was homeschooled, so on top of learning most everything else at my own pace I was able to begin my photography education when I was 15 (11 years ago!) and haven’t stopped since. I’ve been lucky enough to learn from many very generous and talented photographers who mentored me over the years, as well as countless books.

How to we book you for our wedding?

The best way to get in touch is to email me. Once I gather a little info from you, I’ll be able to recommend the best collection to suit your needs. If you prefer, we can schedule a phone consultation to chat about your vision and make sure we're a great fit. Becoming friends with my clients is vital to having the perfect wedding day together!

To reserve your date you’ll need to submit a 50% retainer and signed contract. My online booking system makes this super easy. Then we move on to the good stuff!

Should we do an engagement session?

Engagement sessions are a fantastic way to celebrate this fleeting season in your life together as a couple, and ramp up the excitement leading up to the big day! It’s also a great way to get to know my shooting style and what to expect from me in terms of direction on your wedding day. Not to mention you get an awesome collection of images that you can use for your save the dates :)
